Pink?

Do you think a 10 year old girl would like this case? Or is it too much? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144281&cm_re=pink_case-_-11-144-281-_-Product

All in ones

It seems all in one PCs are finally catching up desktops in terms of performance and reliability. Of course nothing will compare to building your own pc, but I have had clients get many of these lately and they seem to work pretty well. This one for example is on sale and you really cant beat an i5 and nvidea for under 600.

The end of gaming?

It's official. Console gaming is totally screwed. Both the Xbox and PS4 will have x86 chips. Gaming is going to be an even more boring homogeneous mess with the PC getting the shaft even more.

Consoles are a joke. I honestly look back and think the last good gaming console I owned was my Nintendo 64. It actually made me excited to play games (on a console). It'll be almost another decade before the next systems after this upcoming generation, so yeah... I'll stick with PCs as usual. Of course that means PC gamers screwed though since the majority of the population enjoys consoles, so that means game developers will develop for shitty hardware, and then port it over to PC so it runs like a complete bag of shit.

The asshole game publisher execs don't even bother to allow a real options menu in ported games anymore. Fuckers force us to use a mod or edit the ini files ourselves in order to turn on V-Sync or Anti Aliasing, and that's if they decide to leave them unencrypted. Its such nonsense, every time a console is released, a top of the line PC can already top it, and then a year later a decent PC can be equal or greater. Everyone has a PC  just spend the console money on a gfx card hook the damn thing to your tv if you wanna sit on the couch so bad. Its not that hard!! God its just like everything in this country...the good stuff gets pushed out of the way by mindless, bland, mediocre people and products.

People try to argue that people don't want to play games on PCs anymore but it's such a flawed argument; starting with the fact that consoles essentially ARE cheap PCs. I mean, every Valve game still has constant users, there's Starcraft, there's Battlefield... oh yeah that's always a great one. All I need to say to people is: "I'm sorry, I like to play Battlefield 3 with 64 people and, yanno, good graphics. I guess your'e fine with 20 people and 2008 visuals. Oh, and you must also enjoy paying for extra levels on games, using game discs and never getting to use Steam where you can get a game for $5 and play it on any computer you are at". Sigh.
